I was invited to the nov shuttle launch, and wanted to bring a better lens than I have. my long lenses are 70-210: and 35-300L along with a bigma, but i was hoping for something with a little better reach. 400-500 L would be nice. i can possibly rent where I live but transporting is the tough part. If I can rent and return down there, that would be preferred. |

Neither of the places they list have any really expensive primes. They have the 400 5.6 and the 300 4 IS, but not the high-end primes like the 500 f4 or the 300 2.8. |

All of the online rental houses will ship to a FedEx Kinko's to hold for pickup in Orlando. Its done everyday. The larger ones all have 400-500-600 primes and unlike PPR the rental starts when you pick it up, not when they ship it: |

Try lensrentals.com. They are based out of Memphis. They are good to deal with. |
