My wife and I are new to the wedding photography. Anyway these are the shots from our 3rd paid wedding. We are taking things slowly and steady, photography isnt our primary profession. I hope we are in the right direction with these shots.

Enough of my rant, here are the results and critiques/comments are more than welcomed but please be kind since this is my first post in this section.

So the shots are good but the bride looks/seems disinterested in just about all the samples.
When I have a drab expressed bride I call a brides maid to stand behind me and do a dance. Not kidding. Always results in genuine laughter and smiles.

These seem over processed as well. High sat and selective color is what I'm addressing. Hope it helps.

I like the photos and the saturation thing doesn't jump out at me but this bride is not glowing. Is that the case with all your shots of her? Maybe she is not the glowing type...

Thanks for the comments.

I will try and desat the shots and see how it goes. Didnt add any saturation to the photo. Just a slight S-curve and sharpening on +4.

These guys were ultra conservative and capturing candids or moments were very hard. I might try Sam advice on the next one on that dancing bride's maid.

your camera might have its saturation setting bumped up then...

Camera is on normal. I should check if the standard profile for nikon's picture controls ups the sat duing the raw conversion.
