So what I'm trying to build is a action that will put a border around my images and resize them to 1024 by x like shown below but work for both portrait and landscape. Also how do I go about having the text position correctly on crops and between portrait and landscape? Another problem is that the text does not come in at the same size or sometimes not at all for images that were edited in Camera Raw compared to ones that were edited in Photoshop.

Normal, what it should be. Edited in Camera Raw.

Mathew, you can handle the resizing for both vertical and horizontal images with the "File > Automate > Fit Image" command. I defer to other on the text topics. Best wishes. -Art

This may not help much, but this is the way I do it. I made two actions (one for horizontal images and the oher one for the verticals). I put them in separate folders and batch process each folder idividually.

Ok, but I still don't know how to fix the crop borders and the text issues.
