Hi to all of you guys:

I've always laminate my RC prints on a hot vacum press laminator, but recently I bought an Epson Stylus Pro 3800 printer and printed couple of prints on Epson Premium Luster Paper and laminated them as I've always done before (using regular RC Papers). To my surprice the print changed its color becoming yellower. This hapened with all the Epson print but none of the regular RC prints changed its color. Does any one have a suggestion or comment about this issue? I'll preciate any help, thanks.

Leslie,
How long do you let the prints dry before laminating them?

The last 16x20 that I laminated, was printed almost a week before but sometimes I laminate them hours after printing. The result is the same (in my opinion)

Is it a cold or hot laminating process? You are probably 'cooking' the prints if you're using heat. With today's ink longevity, what is the advantage of laminating?

I use a hot pouch laminator (Seal 44) beacause I frame the Photo without glass. I know that todays ink technology is verry advanced, but I don't want people to touch the photo and scratch it or dirt it.
