Hi,

I started to have problems rendering some Compressed NEFs with Adobe Lightroom 1.4.1. Purple blotches and colored blocks appear on the preview for a few images of each photo shoot. I have no problem rendering these problem NEFS with Photoshop CS3 raw converter.

Anyone having the same problem and what can I do? I started using compressed NEF recently.

probably the rendering smaller than 100%. Just zoom in to 100% and you'll see the blue and red stuff go away. (i have the same with my D300). It's annoying but nothing to really worry about.

Thanks Francois. Problem still occurs even if I use the "Edit with CS3" feature on Lightroom. The issue is that it is only happening with a few NEFS. Others work beautifully. Perhaps it is time to switch back to uncompressed NEF.

You might bring your problem to Luminous-Landscapes. They have an active LR forum.

what ISO? i have this happen at 25,600 but no other time.
