"Quikie" entry, rather busy this week and therefore won't have time to comment much. I did have time for a quick look at this weeks entries though, good work everyone!

A magical connection often takes place between author and reader...

Nice shot, Jason, even if it is a bit hurried. Indeed, the magical connectin that an author can create is something very special. I see you are a Tolkien fan. Good work!

All the best,

Endre

Yep, agree with Endre. Nice quickie. Hey, what is the white towel or sheet to the right?

Nice shot, but that object on the right is distracting! I think it would be much better without it.

A good one even though a quick one. About the pillow to the right, I think for me I like it. It makes me think that you have spent some time reading lying down on the pillow.

Thank you Endre, yes I am a Tolkien fan, although in this case I choose the book because of it's looks, not it's content. I was wandering around trying to come up with an idea and spied the LOTR trilogy on the shelf, from there sprung the idea.

Thank you Steve, the white (actually yellow in color) thing is a pillow.

Thank you for the critique Andy, I debated about having the pillow in the frame or not, and decided to leave it in to help "tell the story." However, since it's not readily apparent what it is it may indeed be better without, but Fred has already picked the finalists, so I guess it stays.

Hey thanks for stopping by Gotsy, that was the impression I was going for, I'm glad you picked up on it.

Cheers.
