Grognard > are you kidding ? the 70-200 has not seen the light recently I found the complement I needed for the 85, for when I cannot get close enough

when they make a 135 f2.0 IS (or let s hope f1.8 ) I am selling the 70-200

Really? I thought the Canon 70-200mm was at least comprable to the Nikon version in image quality? I love my 70-200mm, although I desire greatly the 200mm f/2 and 300mm f/2.8 Nikkors. As always inspiring awesome photography.

Bill > I still need a "few" years to cover my subject so I guess this thread is not dead yet

Grognard > the 70-200 is fantastic but for my line of images I can cope with a prime and I love to try to work around the difficulty of using it with fast moving subjects while keeping the composition as I want it, it is very challenging

you should really try out the Nikkors 200/2 and 300/2.8 I am sure you would enjoy them. Beware to do it only if you can afford them !

Very nice, once again your work is great. Can one make a suggestion for an image? Have you been to Ryoan Ji? I'd love to see your take on it.

Yes I love Ryoan-ji but I have to say I like some sub-temples of Daitokuji much better

I am still not ready to make more images of those zen gardens, it is a very hard subject to shoot

here is a very very quick update as I am in a rush, HD and explanation will come sunday !
