I like these a lot. The first image at the top isn't leveled. It's tilted a little to the left. That's my only criticism. Very nice!

I put a level on my screen and indeed, the image is tilted to the left.

You appear to have a few images missing.

#9 might use a little levelling and I am curious about the focus point in the shot of the pianist's hands - (if intentional )

Really? I just cleared my cache to check, and they all still appear in the screen...can you give me the specific numbers that aren't showing up?

huh..maybe i should have thought about using a ruler to level the first one out..lol =b..

2, 13, 14 and 16

(and it is a shame the guy on the left in #7 didn't have shorter arms! )

Since you are all having a good lauch at my expense (I'm used to it, trust me), I will explain to you why I said that. While this is a wide angle shot showing the whole interior of the church, to me the "subject," aka most important part of the image, is the alter and cross section of the image. You're telling me that part of the image looks level to you? The entire image looks like it is tilted to the left, it's subtle, maybe that's why you are all missing it? But it's there.

actually, i was going to say that the first one is tilted too. (sorry) You have many other shots with level backgrounds, so I can tell that this wasn't an intentional, artsy tilt. And, I didn't get a ruler out...it just looks crooked to me. For me, the pillars are where I saw it first (they are leaning left) and the big cross bar on the ceilling.

Lovely lighting control on that gazebo photo. Putting people in dappled sun always scares me, but you have pulled it off flawlessly. *clap clap*

And, I also love the cake shot and kiss-under-veil. sweet shots.

your first image is tilted, as well as some others. and i don't think they were intentional.

my fav is #9 and #10, but #9 is tilted too.

on #9, maybe it's the flowers growing to the left and bride's veil flowing in the same direction and maybe it's the tilt too... but it looks like everything is moving to the right or there is a gust of wind coming from the right... haha. anyways, i really like it.

btw, that is one long veil.

your images kinda sorta reminded me of ed pingol's images. lots of bridesmaids and groomsmens and lots of off-camera flash.

where in san diego is this?! i lived in san diego for almost 20 yrs and i don't recognize your location.

you keep moving south. i think you started in sf, then you moved to la and now doing weddings in sd. haha. next stop will be tijuana.

anyways, i think your images look great!

DSL- lol not laughing at you..laughin at myself for not seeing the tilt like everyone else did..lol but really thanks for pointing it out..

Katie- oh thanks, yea i really dreaded it before as well, but i'm getting the hang of using off camera flash to even my exposure out...

Jlim- ok..it's not like everyone else hasn't mentioned it ;').. thanks, but who's ed pingol? i've never heard of him lol
I'm actually from texas and moved west to LA, but if i was in sf i'd probably moved out anyways because of eddie haha

Great set here man. 10, 11 and 12 are awesome. 10 is just stellar. The colors you got on the dance floor are really great as well. From the DJ lights?

9 looks off. Did you apply post blur in PS. Natural blur is best of course but I think I'd have preferred it with out the PS blur, assuming that's what it was. The focused trees just behind the groom give it away.

Thans Hass! yea dj lights mixed in with bounced flash..i actually just set my flash to manual and upped the iso a tad..
on 9 yes i did apply some blur...I wanted to take out the houses on the left side..i do agree that natural is better , but kinda hard when you're stuck at f10-11 to keep your shutter speed within it's speed sync..

Where did you place the flash to do that?!?!
i really like #13 except for the white rectangle lights behind...

would you mind sharing exif info on 9, 10 and 13?

Jlim- for 13 the flash was directly behind the center piece..if you look close right behind it you'll see a silver ring/bracelet, that's my assistant holding the flash...
9 - iso 100 250 9f
10 - iso 100 125 7f
13 - iso 800 1/50th 10f

radioblurs - thanks buddy!

They just got better as I kept scrolling, Conrad, I like 10, 12, love the expression in 6, and while the groomsmen jumping is a cliche, yours really looks great.
