5D and the Super-Canomatic R 58mm f/1.2 @ 2.0 ![]() my conversion isnt fully complete... i can only focus to about ten feet, but this is usually ideal for what i will use it for... shooting models. i may remove another 1mm at a later date. |

Leica 50mm Summicron, either wide open or close to it, on 5D: ![]() Interesting 50. It doesn't completely obliterate backgrounds like the Sigmalux, but it also doesn't have "interestingly busy" bokeh like the f/1.2 Nikkor. And it's not sterile like the Canon f/1.4. It definitely has the most subtle transitions between in-focus and out-of-focus. |
