Hi Bryce,
For what they are worth, here are my thoughts:
1. Pleasant composition, well-framed, but missing something special. The top blade upright signifies calm, but is a very strong feature in alignment with the pole. I think you need more of a subject or context. eg. still water with reflections, unswaying fields of wheat, etc. Or, a more dramatic sky, with a sense of motion in the blades. Was it possible to shoot to capture sky, blades and landscape?
2. A bit too contrasty as developed. Taller vertical bands in the background are distracting. Unclear where the focus is, what the subject is. The stalks are interesting, but need to be supplemented, perhaps with an out of focus farmhouse or tractor in the background. Again, you seem to be missing an elementto add more interest and dimension to the image.
3. I like this one best. You've captured the sense of height, play on geometies of the silo. I think the tilt adds to the interest and adds a sense of motion. Perhaps a bit too centered, but a far more effective composition than the other two. Vignetting bothers me just a bit, perhaps because it appears in three corners but not significantly lower right. Was this cropped?

my $0.02
1)Only thing I can think of that may make it interesting (and still the same shot) is motion blur in the blades. Was it moving when you shot this?

3)I like it. You might try the same shot with the silo taking up more space. Try to align the sides of the silo with the sides of the flame ( kinda). Might be interesting, might not. I'd try it......Maybe I will.......there should be a silo around here somewhere......

Other than the subject matter not be rivetting, I find the shots fine overall. Courious about the color variation in the sky. Was there smoke or fog on the horizon? Anyhow, I think the shots are good for what they are. Now go out and find some exciting Goochland images......

2 is best one for me but would be better with tops of grain.

last is good but too blue in sky - turn down the saturation would improve for me.

1 does not work for me. there is no detail in blades and it feels like two seperate pictures.
