For those of you from Texas, you know that Dr. Pepper was once considered medicinal and was to have been taken three times a day - at 10 am, 2 pm, and 4 pm to insure a healthy life.

I knew what it was from your title! We've visited Dublin many times, and we get several 6-packs of the old recipe every time we are near Hico. Great to see this.

I have a tall glass of ice and Dr. Pepper on my desk as I type this. It's my favorite drink and I have at least 3 a day of this fine beverage. It must be the reason I feel so good all the time

Best of luck this month

Ha. I had forgotten that.
Well, I guess all the advertising (and sugar) works... we're a very pop/soda saturated culture now.
Nice entry!

Thanks, Carrol and Paul. I'm drinking one right now (not the original formula, though) - you have to go to Dublin, TX for that.

HIgh fructose corn syrup FTL! Give me real sugar over HFCS any day. But give it to me in (Mexican) Coke™, 'cause I'm not a fan of carbonated prune juice, uh, I mean Dr. Pepper™.

Nice entry Tom.

Thanks, Alex. It's not prune juice and the original formula is pure sugar, baby - enough to give you a headache.
