Found Mercer Arboretum and Botanical Gardent NNE of Houston TX. Open to the public year-round. Free, but volunteers and donations welcome. They have soooo many lilies. I ran completely amok. These are but a few.

Lovely place and I will definitely go back looking to get some critters. Just was very happy to shoot at the flowers this time. Thanks for looking and commenting.

Thanks very, very much Remus. I'm trying to follow John's [Dalantech] advice: start out at f/11-1/250-ISO200 and go from there. These are all natural light. Next to irises, daylilies just blow me away.

The iris garden here is being redone, so I'll hafta wait 'til next spring to get at those...they're supposed to have over sixty (60) different irises. Wow!
