Reorganizing my collection, and selling off some lenses that I'm not using enough, so that I can buy some long glass.

Terms
Prices include paypal fees and shipping with the US. I'm not taking photos of these lenses, but just look at my feedback to confirm that I'm a reliable seller. In-person pickup in the San Jose, CA area is welcome.

LEICA

Leica R 80mm f1.4 (Summilux) - $850 shipped - SALE PENDING
Serial number: 3201843
Items included: front and rear caps, built-in lens hood

This is Leitz lens is the 3-cam version, made in Germany, with the built-in lens good and 67mm filter size. This copy shows moderate signs of use (brassing on the focus ring and aperture ring, and some slight dents in the built-in hood.

This is a "user copy", not a collector copy. It's not a "beater", but there are several edges where the black paint has worn. The glass is in excellent condition with no issues. Aperture ring has firm clicks, and no other issues.

I picked up this R 80 Lux as part of a larger package deal. It has the buttery smooth Leica look, with the soft glow wide open, and then razor sharp by about f2.8. It's a wonderful portrait lens.

I can include a high quality R-to-EOS adapter for $75 if the buyer wants it.

I've added photos of the lens down at the bottom of this post

NIKON

I bought this lens, and the special EOS "G" adapter, to use as an ultra-wide setup on my Canon bodies. The lens is fantastic, but I don't shoot this wide often enough to justify it. For my needs (usually 21mm - 35mm for landscape), I have plenty of coverage with other lenses.

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f2.8 G ED - $1400 shipped - SOLD
Serial number: US 204520
Items included: original box, all original accessories and documents, blank warranty card.

The lens is about 3 months old, and in mint condition. It's only been used a handful of times. I've tested the lens with adapter on my 5D, and it's just as advertized.

I've already sold the adapter separately.

OLYMPUS

I've been using an Olympus E-420 as my travel camera for a few weeks now, and I'm very happy with the system. It makes a great lightweight, compact system that compliments my larger Canon system.

I bought a few lenses to get a sense of what I'll use, and I've decided to stick with the Leica D 14-150 lens as my main walk-around. Therefore, I'm selling these two Olympus Zuiko lenses.

Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 12-60mm f2.8-4.0 SWD - $750 shipped - SOLD
Serial number: 230005823
Items included: original box with all original accessories and documentation (including black warranty card).

This lens is in mint condition with no functional or cosmetic issues. It's a sharp lens (as all copies of this lens seem to be), and works perfectly.

Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 70-300mm f4.0-5.6 - $340 shipped - SOLD
Serial number: 256024438
Items included: original box with all original contents including blank warranty card and retail receipt

I purchased this lens new from B&H in March/08. I used it twice, and it has sat in my lens cabinet since then. It's in mint condition with no issues - cosmetic or functional. Everything is as new.

This is a great lens, and gives an amazing 140-600mm focal range on the 2x Four-Thirds bodies. But my E-420 does not have in-body stabilization, and this lens really needs a body with stabilization, or a tripod, to use a the long end. It simply isn't a good travel lens for me for this reason.

ZEISS

I bought this special Conurus converted Zeiss lens to try it out as a walk-around. Image quality is fantastic, but the speed of the lens (aperture and focus speed) are a little slower than the Canon 24-70. I can't afford to keep both, so I'm keeping the Canon.

Contax Vario-Sonnar 24-85 f3.5-4.5 - Conurus converted to EOS mount - $1,050 shipped marker]] - SOLD
Serial number: 12704148
Items included: front and rear caps

The lens works great, and is in mint condition. Image quality is excellent - similar to my Zeiss 35-70. The Conurus conversion is of very high quality, and provides accurate EXIF information.

Contax 24-85 is sold.

Lots of interest in the Nikon 14-24, but no takers yet.

I may have a buyer for the Nikon 14-24G, who only wants the lens (Nikon shooter). If that deal happens, then I will sell the G adapter separately for $150. For anyone who wants just the adapter, drop me a line.

How much for the 14-24 without the adapter?

Have you tested the 14-24 on a 1Ds Mark III?

I sold the G-to-EOS adapter separately, so it's no longer available.

I'll sell the Nikon 14-24 f2.8 G lens by itself for $1,400 shipped. I already have a potential buyer - waiting to hear back.

Brandon - I sold my 1Ds3 before I got the adapter, so haven't tested that combo together.

Mike,

If the 12-60mm Olympus still available, consider it sold.

Mike,

Consider the 70-300mm Olympus sold, if still available.

Thanks!
