Great take on the assignment. Saying the rosary as a daily ritual is a great idea.--Frank

Clint,
Good idea. I think it would communicate a little more strongly if the cross were in front and in focus.

Thank you all for the nice comments, I actually had a few different angles but I really liked the current one, The lighting in this one was much warmer and looked more natural. I really disliked that the cross got lost below the wood grain. But I still liked this shot over the other ones.

I really like the angle, the only thing that throws me a smidge is that you don't really get the impression that the hand is attached to a person. I know, intuitively it is, but it would be nice to see a little bit of a person too. But thats just me I really do like the lighting and clarity, you nailed that for sure. You ever consider a high-contrast B&W conversion? Thats sort of my thing as of late, this image might look great in B&W.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the comments, I did try the B&W conversion, but I didn't like it as much. I usually try the photos both ways, but I really liked the warmth of the color on on this shot, It may have been better in B&W if the "Model Hand" would have been older. If I get a chance I will try to post one of the B&W shots for you to see.

Thanks Again for your comments,

Clint
