G'day, as it says I'm after this lens, 17-40mm f4. It need to be SHARP, I just got a rather soft 24-70 off ebay and wasnt impressed.

Not fussed on condition of the bodys as I'd like to pick it up fairly cheap so if anything I'd prefer it to be thrashed, as long as the glass is still clean and sharp and everything works I'm happy.

Im in Australia so anyone willing to ship to Aus feel free to offer one up, I'll pay shipping. Can paypal you.

So at it again, I'm after SHARP copys of canon 400mm 5.6, 200mm 2.8 and 17-40mm 4.

And if anyone has an extrememly sharp copy of the 24-70mm im also interested.

I have a 24-70L 2.8 in NSW - always thought it was super sharp, but definitely not nasty. Couple of years old with no marks whatsoever. Your criteria may be different, however.

Replaced it with a 24-105L to give me more flexibility - can't sat say it's as sharp, but more usable.
