Spring has been very slow to visit our lovely state. As a matter of fact, it is still snowing in some northern regions of the state. Nonetheless, some spring ephemerals are coming and going throughout the St. Croix river valley. The following is a small collection of images captured this week.

wow Bruce , 2 and 3 are just sublime man ! , i might tone down the jack in the pulpit hot place exposure wise , but just beautiful

it will be good to shoot together again this summer when we can get out

Hey John...
Thanks a lot for the comments.. I think the jack in the pulpit suffered from poor jpeg conversion... the print is much softer than the web image... I need to be more careful when I post.

BTW... the owl is a Great Horned Owl Chick.
