Are some of the best spots for photos? I know that this is a very subjective question. I am just wondering where fellow FMers like to shoot while in the windy city. I will be in Chicago all of next week and I am looking for some ideas.

Cheers,
Lonnie Trent

millenium park for sure. By the chicago river is nice as well and by the adler planetarium, looking back into the city. At night you can get the entire skyline.

Buckingham Fountain, in Grant Park. Especially after sundown for the light show.

Don't take a tripod to Navy Pier. North Michigan Avenue and Lasalle street could be interesting as well.

In no particular order:

- Chinatown is always fun.
- Lincoln park if you like flowers and scenery
- Millenium park... but don't forget to go "behind" it on the boardwalk closer to Lakeshore drive
- Planetarium (during the golden hour)
- Bicycle path on lakeshore drive just South of LaSalle Drive
- Corner of Chicago-Michigan (Water tower and John Hancock and Station 98 Firehouse)
- House of Blues area is always great around sunset with light reflecting off the buildings on Wacker.

You should definitely check out Buckingham fountain. V.interesting subject matter and great views of the skyline from there.
