Very nice birdies Jim, sharp and nice perches and backgrounds. They all have a bit of noise going on in the bg, maybe run some noise filter on just the bg, not the bird? I think you will like the result.

Very nice captures of a nice looking bird, Jim. The first two shots are my favorites.

Mr Little,

Cute bird my friend. Nice job on these. I see your shutter speed was 1600 on some of these with ISO 1000. They seem a lot noisier than that though especially coming from the 40D. I'm wondering if you under exposed these and then boosted brightness exposure in PP

Just trying to help and I sure hope you don't take offense, because it isn't meant that way at all Check your exposures and when your at higher ISO's make sure your exposing to the right and decreasing exposure a tad in PP > Should help clean them up!

Keep up the good work Mr Little

Anthony
