Had some time to go through my archive from last summer and would like to share two images with you. I've shown similar ones a couple of month ago. Both were taken at beautiful Patricia Lake in Jasper National Park, Canada (that's somewhere north of the States ;-) ). Patricia Lake is very famous among photographers for you can easily get their by car. That makes it a perfect and safe location if you love to shot some bad weather, such as I do.

I was lucky to get some of the wildest light I've ever seen when suddenly the sky cleared up a bit during a storm around sun set. "Seduced" by the comfort the lake offers to photographers I went back there the next morning. There's also a really nice moor next to it (third image added to this topic).

Hope you'll enjoy them:

Robin,
All 3 are excellent. #1 is my favorite of the group.

These are all beautiful, but the light in the first makes it exceptional. Great work!

Really good set there Robin. I'm stuck between 1 & 2, but I feel the composition sits better in 2 though.

VERY good work. Though the first is clearly the more dramatic, I think the 2nd gets Best in Show......IMO.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

@Alex (Scott): I agree, sky-foreground-relation is a bit too balanced in the first shot. But neither wanted to miss the stone in the foreground nor to cut off some sky =D
