Shelley Well Done I think that bear in #3 saw his first human of the season too.

Thanks Chad... I am thinking that cub is the same one the park had trouble with last year. They think someone fed it as it was always hanging around the road, which is also where I found this one. I know they had to pepper spray it a couple times last year. It was approaching cars. Thankfully when this cub saw me this year, it just got off the road, and rambled down the hillside.

Excellent job, Shelley. Both series, the bear and the rams, are awesome. I like the clarity, the color tones, and the fine detail of all the images. 1, 3, and 11 are my favorites.

Thanks Socrate.

Oh God... you and Lou and the bears... How far away were you from it Shelley? I love to see pics of em, but I don't think I could do bears close up.

Very nice series... beautiful shots of the Rams on the hillsides.

Terry

Thanks Terry. I was very close to the cub. These were taken with the 70-200... but I was in my car when I took them, or standing beside it.

Wow, I'm so envious !!. Beautiful shots, all. I kind of like 11 the best, but wouldn't want my life to depend on having to pick just one.

Thanks kindly Leon.

Fabulous bear shots, Shelley. You must have been waaay too close unless you were in your car. The ram shots are unbelievably good, but those bear close-ups are stunning and so hard to get. Very well done. I always enjoy your work.

Carole

Thanks Carole... I was in my car for the bear shots, or standing right beside it with the door open. But this bear was more interested in finding something to eat... other than humans I assume.

Wow are these images amazing. I really like the ram portraits backed by the evergreens... While the bears are great, I think the young ram jumping from ledge to ledge is an awesome capture!

Thanks for the kind remarks Bruce.

#1 & #14 are my favorites. How do you pick your border colors? By each individual shot? Do you sample colors from the capture?

Thanks kindly. I pick the colors from colors in the photo. Its an easy thing to do and gives me an idea for future framing of prints.

Incredible shots, Shelley. My very favorite is #12. Wonderful perspective, BG, pose and the framing you have chosen enhances it nicely. Other picks: 1, 2, 3, 6 & 7. Thanks for sharing.
