Let me be the first to say Spectacular Great series, those swallows look real, and like they are having 'real fun' too. RWBB's are fantastic, the blacks are perfect and the BG's are too. Not picking any favorites Gene, that would be stressful Oh, I do like the turtle in the 'soup'

Stunning Gene. Very nice PP, it looks like your very heavy on the blur in the BG. I think it works quite nicely here. You have a bunch of spectacular images here. The turtles, well they just don't do it for me.

Top notch stuff Gene, but we don't expect less from you Glad your back

PS, I'm pretty sure the male swallow was just helping the Mrs. with her hair do.

Thanks,

I have added no blur in post processing, It is from the shallow DOF, the lens bokeh, and subject isolation..

Hey Gene,
Amazing to see the swallows mating - but the barbed wire perches do detract a bit. That said, the detail in these are awesome!! But I love the natural perches and backgrounds in the RWBB and sparrow (what kind??) shots - these are top notch!!! Light in the turtle shots looks pretty darn challenging - well done under harsh conditions with these, especially the 2nd to last, which is way cool!!

Amazing shots Gene. What equipment did you shoot these with?

On a bird related note, I have a robins nest 1 foot outside of my window on the balcony and the babies just hatched today. 2 down... 1 to go. I snapped a few pics but nothing really turned out that good because of the nest location.
