Hi, this is my first post, so please bear with me, I'm trying to embed the pic and it's been a while since I've written html, so this might not work (well, first time...)!

Have been out of the photography game for a while, never really got into it after buying a camera: buying a house shortly after soon put pay to that!

Now I've got some more money I've bought a few lenses and accessories and am looking into getting into it again and catching up on all the fun I have been missing out on.

I needed some inspiration for topics and think this weekly assignment forum is ideal, so my objective is to shoot one shot I really like a week. Can't honestly say this is it, but at least it's getting a foot in the door, and giving me ideas and inspiring me to try new things that not only would I not have tried before, but neither even thought about.

I've been looking at peoples entries for the past couple of weeks and really enjoyed looking at what others have come up with, but never submitted anything and always thought "wait til next week to see what the subject is". Was going to do the same this week, then thought, "what the hell....".

One of my lens purchases was a macro, so thought I'd try it out. The only retro thing I could find in the house was a brightly coloured LP, so this is it. I think it looks better at full res than at 640px, but never mind. Kind of reminds me of the colours of a sunset, one of the things I enjoy shooting the most, none of them are the same and the colours are fantastic.

C & C welcome!

Andy

Thanks for the comments :-)

I love macro shots, it's amazing what the camera can see that the human eye can't.
