Finally got around to processing shots from a Christmas in NYC. Had a great day which started out by taking the subway to Brooklyn, then walking back over the Brooklyn Bridge, lunch at a packed Jewish deli, then a visit to the Tenement Museum.

This is handheld with a Canon 5D and a Sigma 12-24:

The first one is one of the better ones that I have seen taken from that position.

It would have been fun to go back sometime for the same series at night, with a tripod. Not sure how safe that would be, though. I'm just a rube from Vermont. ;D

ooooh, I had been thinking of getting that 12-24 Sigma to use with my 5D and Mk3, though I ended upgetting a 16-35 Mk1. Where were these shots before I bought!? I would have gotten this lens had I seen these first! lol
