These photos are from a set I took to use as wall decoration for a friend's local Italian restaurant. They all were shot on Kodak Portra 160 VC with my EOS 1V and 50mm f/2.5 Macro. Scanned on HP G4050 scanner. Minor dust removal and Unsharp masking in Photoshop Elements.

I should think that your friend will be very pleased with these, the first one is the weakest of the selection imo, it is a bit bland and not quite central, easy to fix by cropping some off the right though.
The other three are all pretty good, the second is probably my fav.
I think they'll suit the restaurant very well.

Good idea. I was wondering about cropping the first one. I also noticed in the second one, the light coming in from the window is reflecting blue on the red onion because of the color temperature difference.

I wish i was as creative as you! I try but I can never turn ordinary everyday items to look like this lol good job
