Here's some images from the last couple of weeks here in SoCal.
#1 Picking up where I left off with my last post. Love is still in the air.

#2 The world looks just a bit more beautiful when you're in love........

#3 Of course, all that loving leads to the need for nesting material .....

#4 Love also works up a "little" appetite.

#5 And sometimes ............... A "BIG" appetite.

#6 But, we're getting ahead of ourselves. After all ...... you have to first strut your stuff so that you can attract a suitable mate, as these guys are doing.

The avocet capture 1 is great. I attempted this capture yesterday with stilts >> But the little turds kept turning the wrong way !!

Great stuff Ken. I've never seen an ibis with a whiter face before--great images.

Super work, Ken, and glad to see you're back out in the field. Where did you see the White-Face Ibis? You got some great looks at their iridescence. And #2 is a shimmering morning shot --- SJWS? Hope to see you "out there" soon...
