I finally had a weekend with somewhat clear enough skies to try this idea I've been hashing over for this assignment. If conditions are better in the next couple of weekends before the deadline I may try again and replace this entry, as I'm not completely happy with it with the thin clouds I had to deal with here.

This is a 1 hour exposure (30 frames x 2 minute shutter, f4, ISO400). It was quiet traffic wise last night, only two cars heading out of town. I wish at least someone had gone to town, for some red taillight trails to go along with the headlights. Speaking of headlights, I know some won't like the big glob of light in the corner, but once I realized I couldn't get any higher to avoid being in the beam of light there, I figured the car being in the corner helps emphasize the theme of "curves".

Hi David,

I really like this shot. The colors on the horizon really add to it and the star trails in the sky make for lovely curves. Good luck.

I really love this shot. The dramatic light only adds to the beauty. Great concpet and execution.

Awesome photo,
