It must be killing you to already have the lens! I am also waiting with no feedback so far. I hope Mark is hard at work getting these ready. |

I'm sure you already know the details on the website. According to that info, they should have shipped within one week of arriving on April 4th: |

I agree. People should be asking for their money back. Plenty of time has been given. |

I have already refunded quite a few payments, and was happy to do so under the circumstances. I know a number of people have waited a long time for the adaptor. |

Henry: I can't find your transaction . . . please PM me details of the PayPal account you used to pay for it, and the date on which payment cleared. I'll sort your refund immediately on receipt. |

Henry, doing business with Mark—who is trying to manufacture something unique, and whose supply of necessary parts is not in his control—is not like ordering something from Amazon. I just can't understand why you would want to cancel the order on the eve of actually getting something you can't get anywhere else. Please enlighten us. |

Henry, understand completely. Mark is overworked as many of us are, and he has been around this place for a long time and has made great contributions to the group. |

Congratulations to Mark for manufacturing this "one of a kind" adapter, (available nowhere else in the world) for us few fortunate ones. I placed my order with Mark back in mid-Feb. and did not worry about it. There were photos to shoot! I came to the conclusion that if Mark did not think he could pull it off, he would not be inviting us FMer's to the party. And that's what it will be shooting with this lens on my 5D! |

There are definitely a few differences between me and Amazon . . . they have a teams of hundreds to reply to emails. Actually, it still takes them several days to get back to you. I've got me. |

PayPal lets you refund within 60 days, without charging any PayPal fees. Still, as Henry noted, you will still be hit by currency exchange spread. When I do business using PayPal I always keep this 60-day rule in mind. That is the main reason why I almost never take advance bookings, for example on the Contax N 50/1.4 or the N 70-200, and at most only accept the lenses but not the conversion fee, unless you try really hard to persuade me. |
