Here is Layla being thrown high in the sky by her Dad. I brought my SLR with me on the off chance that something along these lines would happen. The first time he threw her in the air, I saw the light hit all the water droplets and she was clearing the trees! So I went and grabbed the camera and laid down on my belly at the edge of the pool. He threw her up about 10-15 times before pooping out.

I like the shot, but the flags are a little distracting. It almost appears as though the girl is trying to avoid running into the flags. I like the feel of the picture as she is caught in mid flight.

Thank you for posting.

Very cool shot. Only thing that looks odd is a green tint/hue on her skin (near face/chest area mostly). Don't know where that light is coming from, unless the water is green.

in trying to recall the scene, i remember that a HUGE green pool cover was spooled up and sitting by the pool's edge off to camera right, basically creating a massive green reflector...

nice catch!!

I like the girl's "pose" in the first one but agree the 2nd image is much better due to its composition. You could even go one step further and clone out the flags on that one. You'd lose minimal drops in doing so and could even go back and add them back in after cloning out the flags.
