It has been a while since I have posted anything here. This is was done in Painter using pastel brushes. I took the original inspiration photo while in Thailand a coupleof months ago.

Pretty painting.

Don't you just love those Painter pastels?

Great job. I've been trying to learn Painter but have had some problems. Does anyone ever have a problem with the program slowing down? For example, you try to move your stylus around and the cursor lags behind? How do you fix that or can you? I'm using a new intel iMac.

Any suggestions?

Orlando,

Some brushes can be processing intensive. Your computer specs are important. Things like CPU speed and memory will make a difffernece in what you are experieincing.

Wow! That's fabulous! Wish I knew how to do that.
Are there any books or videos you'd recommend?

Thanks! I'll get one. --Ordering it now!
Step-by-step books do me best. I got the Wow book once (a few editions ago) and got lost in it.
