My Father picked up one of the new 60mm AF-S lenses a few weeks ago, and this was the first chance I had to try it out. I didn't have my D300 with me, so I used his D40.

It's very lightweight, and seemed lighter than my original 60mm AF-D that I had. Test shots showed CA and purple fringing were well controlled. Color and contrast are nice too. I might need to pick up one of these soon for myself.

That's a really cute dog. The lens looks like it has great micro contrast (well from the best I can tell at web size )
