Further to Pablo's thread featuring the beauty dish lighting full length fashion work, here's another example. All shot with dish up high and slightly right, model against white seamless. The last shot also has a silver reflector at her waist. ![]() 2 ![]() 3 ![]() 4 ![]() 5 ![]() 6 ![]() 7 ![]() 8 ![]() |

This is getting me more and more interested in using a beauty dish this way. The lighting is just great. She poses well and is good looking. |

Third is the only that really works for me. Check out Chuck's tutorials, mainly the one on COI. |

I quite like the effect / style. The photographs are reminiscent of 50's and 60's fashion photos often used on product packaging such as hair dyes and leggings. |

Anyone can call anything art and someone will be attracted to anything, but I think that even if one desired this effect, a far more refined version could be attained if more attention was paid to lighting, exposure, etc. These seem to have been snapped quickly with little attention to detail. Just having an eye is not enough. You need to be able to use the tools as well. If these shots were shown side by side with shots displaying the same "look" but taken with better technique, I think it would be clear how much better these could be. |

They are not my cup of tea, but obviously you have a very distinct style and processing, and the clients are happy, so, great job! |

Wonderful job. I particularly liked 2,6,8. Don't get to worked up over the hecklers-- par for the course here. |
