Doug, 10 is my favorite more because it is different than because it is technically better than the rest. 2 & 6 look a bit noisey on the subject? I'm a sucker for owls so I have to like them. Very nice.

Tim

Thanks Tim, I didn't notice it, but you're right about 2 and 6, that tells me I need new glasses and not to PP late at night. I adjusted them, but couldn't get 6 to re-post.

beautiful series Doug but I'm partial to the owls, they are amazing creatures aren't they?

Thanks Laura, I haven't had the pleasure of photographing too many owls, but I definitely agree with you, they are amazing.

Beautiful set, Doug. #s 8 and 9 might be my faves - especially love the owls. In #8 it's difficult to tell where the owls leaves off the the tree starts - very cool.

Wonderful exposure and clarity in these shots, Doug. If I had to pick a favorite it would have to be the #3 BE portrait. You really caught the magisterial quality with that pose, and the white feather details are well-defined.

Best Wishes,
Steve

Doug, these shots are everything that I have come to expect from you....which is nothing short of spectacular. I love the owl shots. If you are selling prints of that last eagle shot (#10), please PM me as I would love to buy one. Thanks.

Thank you Maggie. The first time I went to the nest I almost passed it up, she is very well camoflaged in there.

Thank you Steve, that eagle shot was the last decent one of the season, the sun disappeared shortly after I took it, and so did the eagle.
