Nothing too intense here

Loxahatchee, Florida.

BTW, in my first vist to this site, I really didnt find much, esp with pleasing backgrounds. But I hope to return next Feb and wonder if folks have suggestions on where to go. I entered near Delray/Boynton Beach.

Check out Wakodahatchee and Green Cay - they are less than 10 minutes from Loxahatchee and in Feb will be full of birds. Wako is great for nesting birds and you will seen many annigha and GBH nests. Green Cay better purple gullinales than Wako and more tricolor herons. I was there beginning of March and both were fabulous.

Seems to be a very good speed to me. Nice golden light, very calming, needed that.

And I loved Green Cay and plan to return.
I'm sure there is more to Loxahatchee than my brief ride down the road to the boat ramp and adjacent impoundments. I wonder about one of those canoe rentals, although I worry about getting my gear wet.

Anthony, Karl,
Thanks for looking, commenting.

Long rays of the morning sun were just stretching across the reeds behind me.
The sign had it right; and the bird knew what it was doing: Nice to idle in the early morning Florida sun!
