I just spent that last week in Utah/Arizona with a friend of mine photographing the beautiful rocks.. we hiked from wirepass trailhead to lee's ferry over 6 days, spending 3 days photographing buckskin gulch. Antelope may have color and sensual curves over buckskin, but no other place can offer you 13 miles of slot canyon with unique character and form around every corner.. and we only saw two other people! (for good reason.. permits are scarce, and there's plenty of waist deep stagnant pools of cold water with suspicious moldy like growths floating on them, and a 20 ft drop off obstacle.. all with a 60lb pack ![]() |

That's very cool, Floris! Love the lighting, and I've not seen such opalescent colors on the slots, before. Beautiful! |

Wow... it's like a forgotten statue standing in the middle of the canyon. The range of colours is superb, so is the subtle detail everywhere. |

One of the best I've seen from Buckskin Gulch. |

Wow, what a range of colors. Bet that was a tough exposure. |
