Cool stuff James, the team shot looks kind of weird though because you don't see the bodies of the coaches or players on the second row

Hmm, just noticed that after you mentioned it. How do people respond to this?

Scott

The back row are legless. Which means drunk in Ireland, but you know what I mean :-)

For my last big job (54 teams), I had one parent call me (left a message and didn't leave name or phone number) with a complaint.

One.

And the ironic thing is that'll be the parent who complains that "The photographer never got back to me about my complaint!"

There's always one in the crowd!

Sorry for bringing this old post back up but I have a couple of questions. Is is that much harder to use PS to select the BG over the software that's built for it? I would use 1 AB800 for the main and another for the BG? I will probably end up getting a AB400 or two down the road. That BG has got to be worth every cent when it comes to time used for cutting out.

Yes, using just the available PS tools for dropping a BG out of these images would be WAY too time consuming. No question.

The software allows me to set it once, then batch it. I can effectively drop backgrounds out of over 600 pictures overnight while I sleep.

Well that's just too damn cool James I think I would like to use the BG instead of whatever's out there and am interested in the software as well, thank you.

I just completed my first green screen project. Thanks James for posting your work with the green screen -- it really helped me a lot.

I posted two blog entries on how I did it:
