![]() ![]() I just got back from a two day trip up to Yosemite. It snowed prior to my arrival and then again on the last night of my stay. I awoke to 5 inches of fresh powder. It was indeed a winter wonderland. It was amazing! Edited by jjgekas on Dec 30, 2003 at 06:18 PM GMT |

I like it but just wish that limb wasn't there. I would love to see some more from there as I was always hoping to be lucky enough to see this place under snow. |

Wow, Jimmy, pretty nice. Yeah, the limb is a big element, but I don't mind it there. I'm heading there next week, and I want the same conditions.. |

Jim, very nice pictures of this winter wonderland. Find the composition in number one very intriguing, thanks to that limb. |

To me, the limb is not in the way, it is the main subject with Half Dome being merely a nice background. I love that shot. |

Cool work Jimmy! I was fortunate to have shot Yosemite after a snow storm once and it was great! My favorite times at Yosemite are winter and spring and I think as you said just after snowfall it is like a wonderland. Funny, I used that for a title of one my shots during the winter as welll |
