I think this happened not too long ago, and it is happening again. My avatar is broken and not working. It is missing the “g” in jpg, and I can’t add it back in.

When I hit "Esc" to clear an "Edit Message" Message dialog box, the popup confirmation box says "Are you sure you want to reset the form?", with acceptable answers "OK" and "Cancel". When you select "OK", it returns to the current Message dialog box, with current contents intact. This has to be a bug, as the "OK" option should erase the dialog box. Also, it should say "Yes" instead of "OK" for this popup confirmation dialog box. Thanks, Jim.

1.) I don't receive email notifications anymore when someone sends me a PM. I don't know about the PM unless I'm logged into the site.

2.) Every time I make a new post I check the box "Receive email notification when someone replies" but I never get an email notification, even though there are several replies to my post.

(In contrast, I DO receive email notif when someone replies to a photo-post in my Gallery.)

Anybody else experiencing this? Nothing was changed on the subscription code and from my own tests, it is working.
Perhaps the email is being filtered by your email client and tagged as spam? Check out for the notificication messages in your spam box.

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet or not, but for some reason when using smiley faces icons (the yellow guys...not the text ones) it jumbles up over a few of the last characters in the message/sentence and it's sometimes hard to figure out what they are saying. You can usually just highlight the last part that is jumbled up and see the text but it is annoying to do.

I am using a Macbook 13" with OS X, 10.4.11 if that helps/makes any difference.

Here's a quick example I was able to find. Not the best illustration of it, but you get the idea.

Right. I'm just wondering why it didn't use to do this and now does. Strange. Oh well, at least I am smart enough to usually figure out what the word is so it's not that big of a deal. Just a little annoying.

From your picture, it could be that you set your browser to overide websites font styles. I would try to use a different browser or bring back your current browser default settings.

Fred, I tried to e-mail this to you, did not work to say the least, this is the second time I have registered with this user name, it keeps deleting my account....

"Somehow my user name keeps getting deleted, I have registered twice, first time I did not get my password sent to my e-mail account, about 2 months later I tried again, and it worked, but now I can not login, even after making several posts, and all of the ones I did make now say "guest". I would love to be able to contribute to the forums, but first I need to be able to log in , also if I try to register again a window with letters keeps popping up, but I'm colorblind, so I can't see all of them (finnaly got it right, took 4 tries)....

Has FM gone down a few times today or is it something on my end?

Its gone down several times for me today. Just recently its been unreachable 4-5 times an hour, but for short times at a time.

Hosting is down, at least most thumbnails...12:00 midnight...

Today we had 3 server incidents. As soon as they happened, we took immediate action.
We are taking care of this and running several tests. You may see the site down for short periods of time tonight. I'm working very hard to fix this. It seems like one of the servers is having hardware issues.
The site will be out from around 4:00 to 5:00am (EST)

I've noticed that "Search" for items in the Buy & Sell forum returns the original thread name, but does not show changes of the original FS to Sold.

The result is that only when one opens the actual thread do you see that an item is actually sold. Can this be changed so that the search displays the current thread title/subject including the change FS to Sold?

Thanks for letting me know Rodney. The search is being rewritten and this issue will be addressed on the final version.

Thanks. Figured you would likely incorporate that solution soon. Just wanted to make sure it was on the list. With all you do with the forum, the least we FM'ers can do is drop a suggestion or observation and try to help a bit.
