Went out the this February day with the intent of finding stuff sitting around waiting for winter to end so they can go back to doing what they are meant to do. Wanted more old tractors and such, but no luck this time with anything really aged, but still content with what I did see. C&C welcome please! ![]() 2: ![]() 3: ![]() 4: ![]() Edited by Dajavu on Mar 21, 2008 at 12:50 PM GMT |

I'm really diggin' the middle 2, just because the equipment has that nice weathered feel and I think they make great subjects for this type of shot. Nice work! |

I like the last one best with the repetitive pattern the benches form. Nice light too. |

The last is my pick. Lovely light, indeed, and the staggered line of tables is nice in thick blankets of snow! |

I like this series, David. I'm surprised the Versatile tractor was left out in the snow all winter although it does look like it's seen better days. Very nicely done. |

Good series David, my favorite is no. 1 because the trees add scale to the image (or maybe its the tractor that adds scale to the trees?). The lighting and colors are good, but I would like to see higher sharpness (maybe its a resolution issue?) |

3 and 4...and 3 might make a good candidate for conversion. The picnic tables are a really fine graphic image. Dave |

Thank you all, and sorry for the much delayed reply - work this time of year is crazy, some dayshift, some nightshift, some of both on the same day... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I like the conversions as well, David, although I prefer the colour version of #3. |

Nice set, David, both the mechanicals and the bench shot. I like the colour versions much better than the B+Ws as the warmth of some of the colours makes a lovely contrast with the cold snow. I think the conversions would work better as straight B+W to accentuate the cold and contrast. |
