Ok, so last night i went to the Legions of Honor Museum in San Fransico to the opening night of Annie Lebovitz's display. I met her, shook, hands, and discussed photography for a few minutes. Some of her work is very good. I feel honored to have met a living legend. It was a ritzy party, with all the big-wig donaters. It was very fancy and i had a great time. |

Very cool, I have seen her gallery when it was at the Brooklyn museum. It was very impressive seeing all those large finely printed works. |

I thought all she did was press the shutter button. Doesn't she have assistants who actually know what the cameras do e.g. exposure issues... |

well, being 13 and just starting, she just told me that it was wonderful i am starting photography at such a young age, and that it isn't so much about the gear as how you visualize things. Also, she told me to keep at it and that she is sure i will love it. It was cool. She said more stuff, and i remember it but i cant recall every detail. |
