This was not even suppose to happen but my sister-in-law wanted me to take some really different shots of her son. So I set up in the living room and this was
one of the cooler shots that unfolded of 2003.

Well there are some great photos. This may not be one of my best but can't pass up a chance to show off my son.

Ahhhh....not fair. I have only did about 10 people shots all year. One won the WA, but in actuality this is my personal favorite (but I have some personal attachment to it)

Still my favourite (and published twice) is Rodney, the didgeplayer. Not posed.

This was from my best and most memorable concert shoots of the year.
Off an ancient Rebel G w/ a 50mm f/1.8 mk1 on Tmax 3200.

My favorite "people shot" (well, baby shot) for 2003. Happy new year,

Well I started 2003 with this one, I might as well finish the year with it. It certainly has been an interesting year for me. Enjoy! - Doug

Well, in the name of all that's Cartier Bresson and all, here's my wife and oldest son. So far my "decisive moment" favorite people shot this year:

One of my favorite shots. A Thai girl dancing in a temple.

One of the first photos taken with my Canon 10D in April of this year. When I saw this on my computer monitor in comparison to the 2 megapixel Nikon CoolPix 800 photos I had taken of her over the last 2.5 years of her life, it totally sparked a new passion of photography in me. I also felt like I was finally capturing the essence of my daughter with each photo I took of her. 2003 will be a very important year for me in the future because of this life changing experience.
