'Not even close to my best, but a very important moment in time: ![]() Taken on 4 August, 2003. This shot was taken from the observation deck at Sulphur Mountain in Banff, Alberta. The haze you see in the image is the smoke from a forest fire less than 35 km away. 'Amazing how something so devastating can be so beautiful. eileen in bc |

The East Bay Marina in Olympia, Washington, with the Olympic Mountains in the background. Shot near sunset in late summer/early fall. Can't say this is THE best, but its one that sells for me and one I give as a gift, so I guess the marketplace says its one of my better images. Good advertisement for the Olympia area. Wish all the days were this pretty. |
