Bernardo & Bosque (Cranes)

From my first folder of my trip down to meet Trenchmonkey (Will) and try to fill a few memory cards.

Stop and go photography = Barbara was driving real slow at the Bosque and a very short stop later she continued to drive on and the Cranes had no idea I had stepped out cuz they were watching the car. I like the surprise look he had as he waved hi to me.

Roger,

very nice shots & as usual you've nailed the focus & these are super sharp. My favorite is # 5. I've been waiting for a shot like this of them...

Roger, very nice series. Hard to pick a favorite. They are all nice and sharp and the exposures are spot on.

I just read the thread about the 1DMkIII and am amazed how well that is working for you, Roger.

Some dang fine shots.

Hey Will, I think we have helped create a Photgrapher.. These images are just great. I like #'4 and 6. The light, on #4 does the trick, the dark background forces the birds right to you. Who wouldn't like a nice close-up portrait, as in #6?

Those look nice Roger, I like #3 the 'X' formation and #4 sets a warm peaceful feeling. Bet you and Will had a blast!

Great set, Roger. All are super but I have to agree with 4 & 5 being the standouts. Steve W

The light was not a problem I asked Will to have the light change and he snapped his fingers and it was done
