this is the senior prom showcase at my high school
i've never shot anything close to this, so i'd really like some good tips

i had 1 flash to the left of the runway, and 1 flash to the right
i wasn't underexposing the ambient enough for the first half of the show so all it really did was screw up the wb

both taken with an 80-200 2.8

Looks like you had awful lighting conditions, that being said you did a good job.

The second one has a cleaner background. Loose the white think handing over the guy's head, however.

It looks like it's about to fall and hit him on the head. Oh, and it's distracting, too.

prom showcase at your high school? damn that's pretty fancy =)

horrible lighting situation, you did a pretty good job though. The first angle is a bit high for my taste =/ the heads are a bit close to the top of the frame when doing such a wide crop
