This should be the first set of links up there... Business Education.

Here's my favorite book on that, John Harrington's Best Business Practices for Photographers.

I am always writing. While I don't do the wedding and photography updates as often as my other paying gigs... www.camerachronicle.com ... I do think I put out some useful information.

I finally bought this. It looks better than my former $400 website. More tweakable that the old website. Mark respond very quickly to your questions / request.

I'm surprised nobody has submitted:

http://www.rentglass.com/

They have excellent prices, for week-long rentals, up to 3 weeks, at amazing rates! You don't even have to place a down-payment, it's a flat rate of $35-75 and whatnot per week, with different rates depending on the length of the rental.

You can also extend your rental period after the fact. A great way to try out that Tilt-Shift you've been eyeing, or have that 70-200 2.8 IS for a weekend job. They offer both Nikon and Canon.

P.S. - awesome thread, many thanks! :-)

Very good wedding information collection.

Here three more to add to the collection.

Istockphoto.com - buy or sale photos. They have many kind of photo, and a lot related to wedding. Photos are not expensive.

Wedding Planning Book For help, articles and book to plan your wedding.

EWedding - To create your wedding website.

I appreciate the post, but how do any of the links provided pertain to wedding photography? I do see the strong points of Istockphoto, but many here want to retain all rights to their work, etc. Buying stock images to use in advertising ones business online in our artistic field wouild be a borderline breach of ethics.

Just curious... thanks for posting.
