I can't believe nobody has said it yet...how about online glass rentals for that extra special first wedding and someone told you not to use your 18-55 kit lens.

www.lensprotogo.com is one of the best as well.

I apologize for letting this slip a bit, but I am working on a permanent home for this info.

I'd love to see the websites on techniqe and lighting (and tutorials), whenever you get them up!

Oh, and as to if it should have its own domain name, that's up to you. A very paired-down version of it might look good on your site... some sort of for photographers section. I always thought that made people look good -- as if you have something to say to photographers as well. Of course, that only makes sense if you really do have something to say. This is pretty fantastic stuff.

I also recommend

http://www.lensrentals.com

they will rent 3days and ship, not just local. Prices are the same, give or take $2-$3, and are amazing with custoemr service/satisfaction.

Great Stuff Tim, thanks for putting this together. If you host and maintain the list, we would like permission to link to it from the resource list at the top of the page. In the mean time, I'm making this a sticky.
Thanks again,
Steve

anyhoo, small thing under compactflash cards. ULTRA only goes up to II so there's no such thing as ULTRA III and IV. it's EXTREME III and IV.

I highly recommend www.zenfolio.com as a hosting and printing resource. I've been with them since they started and they have grown so much and continue to grow, always in the right direction. Its the most affordable, flexible, and user friendly...

Tim,

This obviously took a lot of time; thank you for the huge compilation.

A very, very generous contribution.
