Nice capture, you've done a good job of metering given the white bird and dark background, looks a bit blown on the leading edge of the far wing but still better than any of my work! I can't seem to get exif data, mind sharing how you metered for it so I might improve?

The background seems a bit on the grainy side - not a smoothed out bokeh effect, but this fish in the mouth flight photo with the background color is a really nice capture. I too would love to know the exif data on this one. Please share!

I enjoy! That is a pretty one, and a tough one exposure wise to get. The background tells a little bit of the story where this was taken, it sure doesn't look like northern Ohio ! Something perhaps of a much warmer climate
The blue fish-in-mouth compliments those lovely blue legs.

Nice Steve I like it

Karl
yes it is warmer down here, but in the Panhandle we still get some freezing. In fact it was 30 degrees this am with frost on the Windshield. Hope it kills the mosquitoes.
Thanks for your kind comments.

Sure it's a bit grainy, but it is still a very nice image. I love the blue. A very nice capture.
