This began as a personal project in November of 2006 and I hope to continue with it until the kids start running away from the camera.

Thanks for looking.

Best Kid pics I have seen in a long long time, a pleasure to view all of them.

Congrats -- top notch stuff here

PS I would love to know the lighting details on the pony tailed one in July, just an awesome shot

Hello Jason,

Wonderful series of children.

Some of the very best I have seen.

I assume these are your children. Both cute. Lucky you to have such willing and fun 'models' to work with and so convenient to you too.

Many of your photos in the series are highly creative and admirable. Well done!

Your sense of humor, use of camera angles, diverse effects, and use of the individuals and the two together are splendid and refreshing to see.

The overall quality is so high, it will humble many photographers. While I do find some more appealing than others and think some are 'stronger' than others, I would not eliminate a single one from your set. My general feeling is that each is 'perfect' in its own way as a part of the whole series. Together, they make a truly special gift for these children.

Keep up the good work and keep exercising your talent.

Sincerely,
Steady Hand

Fantastic! You have a great talent and your kids are not only beautiful but are at a wonderful age. I am just now getting into photography and my kids are in their teens. They want very little to do with their dad and even less interest in sitting still for a camera. I guess that is just the challenge I have to work with! Keep up the great work.

Simply amazing work... I once came across your work on flickr/strobist, purely by chance and was amazed. Your command of lighting and technique is astonishing. It is a goal of mine to be able to shoot like you someday.

All the best in the new year!

They really are cute, but something must be wrong with your viewfinder because there are a few there where you almost missed getting him in the frame. Too bad.

Responding to you is something I'm not sure of, because it may only feed your pathetic attempts at attention grabbing, but I looked at the posted work and I can't find a single frame that even comes close to fitting the crit you posted. Perhaps if they were all dead center in the frames without any creativity, you would like them better? Indeed, this is some really fantastic work, in my view.
