J-A, that last one can be titled "Perfect Timing" as an alternative. Love it. Jim, oh what nice light above.

Thanks Brian! I used to hang out by the runway three or four times a month, but there just doesn't seem to be enough time anymore. The Lear was doing some currency training, unfortunately I had to bolt after the first couple of landings. I fudged it about as long as I could. When I was walking to my car the Lear was coming around again and a new Legacy was 3 miles out, the light was gorgeous, oh well, another day. My five minute shoot was a cherry that I had to pick. Really, five minutes, a little composition and lighting, at a half day rate. Those come under the heading of, "they don't pay me by the hour, they pay me for what I can do in five minutes" Not only that, I picked up a a new client in the process. I'd like to line about 30 of those up each month.

I'm off to shoot the "Texas v. The Nation" football game at our new stadium, for ESPN. Hmmm, "Texas v. The Nation", seems to me there's a bigger version of that game going on as well. We like the odds.

Mr Wilson..... Sure is a good thing we . don,t charge by the shutter speed. That is the decisive moment. Those ten minute jobs are the bread and butter.
I just went thru one of those times that can drive you nuts. Bought a new set of ear phones, so I can listen the the TV. I am losing some of my hearing, and this is the way I have to cope. I removed the old setup and wired the new phones in, no joy. I checked everything, but still no sound. I took all the wires off and did them again. What the heck, it works as advertised. I guess the moral to the story, is don't give up,' cause the second time may be the charm.

Very nice Yip! That is a beast. A little quirky at first because the Russian radial turns the opposite direction.

Hey Guys and Gals,

I'm working on a photo seminar in Ft. Walton Beach April 17-20th, 2013. This will coincide with the final Doolittle Raiders Reunion. I have at least two B25 Photo Missions planned during the event, possibly three. The coastline there is a wonderful backdrop. Anyone involved in the photo seminar will be welcome to come with me on the B25 and assist in the photography. Check your schedules and interest level, then let me know. Subjects will be B25's and assorted fighters, you know, just the usual cool stuff.

Fun day today, incredible weather. I don't give a flip about football, but loved shooting the whole event.

Great shot of the Learjet 60 landing. It brings back many memories. I was a captain on one of those for three years. A great airplane and fun to fly!
