Thanks Leo! There would have been more, but I had a five minute shoot at 6:30 a half hour away and had to bolt. |

Thanks Brian! I used to hang out by the runway three or four times a month, but there just doesn't seem to be enough time anymore. The Lear was doing some currency training, unfortunately I had to bolt after the first couple of landings. I fudged it about as long as I could. When I was walking to my car the Lear was coming around again and a new Legacy was 3 miles out, the light was gorgeous, oh well, another day. My five minute shoot was a cherry that I had to pick. Really, five minutes, a little composition and lighting, at a half day rate. Those come under the heading of, "they don't pay me by the hour, they pay me for what I can do in five minutes" Not only that, I picked up a a new client in the process. I'd like to line about 30 of those up each month. |

I'm off to shoot the "Texas v. The Nation" football game at our new stadium, for ESPN. Hmmm, "Texas v. The Nation", seems to me there's a bigger version of that game going on as well. We like the odds. |

Mr Wilson..... Sure is a good thing we . don,t charge by the shutter speed. That is the decisive moment. Those ten minute jobs are the bread and butter. |
