Another fantastic shot, (Pun Intended ) Jason!! I reiterate all that everyelse has said. My only technical complaint might be that it looks to me like you have the entire shell casing flying toward your hand as opposed to the just lead bullet, which would be all that comes out the barrel. The casing would simply be ejected from the gun. Certainly well done, though.

All best wishes,

Endre

Thanks Endre!
Actually I believe this is a 30-30 bullet. (I'm no expert on guns ) The bullet itself is lead core with a metal jacket, so what looks like a casing is actually the (copper, I believe) jacket. The casing itself is much bigger and shaped differently. Here's a similar bullet and casing
I believe in an earlier post I referred to the jacket as a casing, my mistake.

Jason,

Wonderful image! Thanks for sharing your software steps with the rest of us. The lighting is perfect and the choice of B & W just enhances the shot. Good Luck.

Jason - The lighting, sharpness and clarity is a definite standout in your work. Your idea on this weeks WA is excellent and so is the execution. Thanks so much for sharing your set up and pp as I learn so much from it! Great entry!

Very cool shot! I can't decide whether I'm looking at Superman or Neo

Much obliged Doug! To be honest though, I've never been referred to as either, but you could all call me superman, that would be nice...

Hi Jason! Loved reading all the posts about your amazing image, but best of all was hearing about your setup. Beautifully done, my friend! I think we'll be voting on this one for sure.

Why thank you Philly, my friend! You make it sound as if my writing about the setup was a masterpiece though, and I didn't even write it in verse or anything!
Just kidding, appreciate it Philly!

I hope Fred likes this as much as you all seem to.
