Post your best photo that has come from your alternative blended gear. It would be nice to found out something about your set-up and equipment used. This is a great learning experience and a great way to experiment with alternative lenses and gear. The first few posts are copies from the end of Alternative Image Thread 2.

Jorgen, wonderful angle on that shot, very nice!

Cambo 4x5, Aero-Ektar 7" f2.5, Tri-X 320 developed in HC110 and TF-4. Shot wide open with a red filter to darken the greens of the Christmas tree and let the lights stand out more. A little abstract, something I don't do very often, but I enjoyed it :-) First run with the Aero-Ektar.

A snowstorm clearing over the Austrian Alps:

Shot on Velvia with a Hasselblad 500 C/M and 150/4 C. That was literally the first sun we saw that day, having stayed in the town that lies beneath that cloud down there.

Beautiful and unusual images Daniel, some sort of multiplying prism filters I assume ?

Here's one from today, using a highly alternative camera, at least for this thread.
December morning fog.
Canon IXUS 860 (a p&s I'm currently evaluating as a pocket/take everywhere camera)

The only filter was the red filter on the back of the lens. That might have added something, I didn't look through it at the tree without the filter. I'm not sure if this is the how the lens originally performed or not, it's been opened up at least once, so it's possible that some of the elements aren't in the correct spots. It doesn't produce those odd flares unless there are hot spots (like the lights) it's creamy unless there is a hot spot. I have some more experimenting to do with it

Jorgen: love the riot of pastel colours in that shot.

Graham: pixel perfect as usual.
